Q: Why do we pay a $25 dollar application fee?
A: This covers our expenses to screen all of our applicants with a background and credit check

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: No.

Q: How long is the lease agreement?
A: 12 months

Q: How much is the security deposit?
A: The security deposit is equal to one month's rent. This is paid in addition to your first month's rent and it will be returned to you when you leave our apartment community in good standing.

Q: Why do we have to pay a security deposit?
A: To ensure us that you will not skip out on your lease or leave our property in bad condition.

Q: Do you have any exeptions on the 12 month lease?
A: Students and Military can enter a 6 month lease for an additional $20 per month.

Q: Do you accept section 8 or military discounts?
A: No

Q: Is water included in the rent?
A: No. As with all other utilies, water is the responsibility of the tenant. Savannah water is billed every two months and averages about $8 per month.

Q: Is the property safe?
A: Carriage House Apartments is proud to be a member of the Crime Free program. This is why we do a criminal background check on all of our applicants. By using basic common sense in regard to your safety or personal possesions, you shouldn't have a problem on our property.
